atkins rebuild kits
i decided to go with atkins rotary for my rebuild kit in order to remedy my coolant leak issue. my question is do i need the full $965 kit or will the basic $330 kit solve the coolant issue? the motor runs great and pulls hard i just need to resolve the coolant leak so i can continue to drive it while i am building my street ported motor. the ported motor is a work in progress and is getting kind of expensive so i would like to get my current n/a motor running reliably so i can take the time i need to build the other one the way i want it. thanks in advance, you've all been a great help to this noo-b so far.

yup, took it to the mazda dealer here in town and compression checks out great. motor has 71k on it but the owner of the car that it came out of rarely took it over 3500rpm. now she has a new camry so her husband sold the motor to the guy i got it from so he could do a v-8 swap (wtf?). the motor was dropped in and then the car was sold to me about two wks later.

also, i see that they have a gasket kit available, but the coolant seal leak isn't a gasket issue is it?

What you need is gasket and seal kit. I'll talk to Atkins to make sure.
