Default 86 with 220k km
This car is perfect except for the fact that it has 220 000 kilometres and its motor has not been rebuilt. At $1900 its pretty cheap, but do I risk driving this? The seals will prolly fail soon, correct? so should I buy, and hope to have enough time to save up for a rebuild, or walk away?

IMO, you're paying too much. Though, I need more info (mods) to back my statement/opinion.

Personally, you'll need to rebuild the engine and other "worn" out parts for you to be able to drive with confidence.

It's 18 yr old car, and original (if so) hoses, connections, gaskets and wireing...

I don't recommend it, myself.

So besides the engine in these cars, what starts to wear out around now?

Vac hoses, coolant hoses, fuel & oil lines, gaskets, main wiring harness (with heat it gets brittle, no longer available from the dealer) Battery cables, are the ones immediately comes to my mind.
