86 with 220k km
This car is perfect except for the fact that it has 220 000 kilometres and its motor has not been rebuilt. At $1900 its pretty cheap, but do I risk driving this? The seals will prolly fail soon, correct? so should I buy, and hope to have enough time to save up for a rebuild, or walk away?

Personally, you'll need to rebuild the engine and other "worn" out parts for you to be able to drive with confidence. It's 18 yr old car, and original (if so) hoses, connections, gaskets and wireing... I don't recommend it, myself. |
So besides the engine in these cars, what starts to wear out around now?

hey, im new here + i just bought a 1986 rx-7 w/119,000 miles on the body and 15,000 on a brand new motor (13B) and i bought the car for 900, it came w/brand new doors and fenders. only problem i have with the car so far is with the alarm system it has on it, the wiring is screwed up. im just saying i think that guy is way over priced.

So what you are saying, is that you think you spent to much for your car?
Do you have any pocs that you can post up here of your rex? |
I think you overpaid, too. I take it out of your hand for 900.
