When i start my fc (89 n/a) for the first time (44 degrees out) after it starts i have to hold the clutch down for like 3 mins then i can let go of the clutch, if i let go after it starts the car shuts off.. Is this normal?
well im no expert. but i dont believe it is. i have to do the same with my 87. but i remove the battery cuz my locks are shot and i cant lock it if i wanna get back in it. and when you remove the battery. the computer forgets its idle point. so yeah. but if you leave batt hooked up. idk.
haha when i s tart mine. its like idling at 1500. i think its bad. but when it warms it drops to like 650-750. but i really dont know whats goin on with yours. i was always told that with fuel injected. never use gas at all while its cranking cuz it will mess it up to. know your not experiencing that. but thought id share.
Yeah after i start the car n i rev to 2k rpms like twice n let go of the clutch it doesnt shut off, but after it went back down it stayed at 2k rpms for a little while,
