+1. An LSX powered RX-7 has all the benefits mentioned for a Supra plus more torque & better handling. The cost of a 3rd gen V8 RX-7 will be comparable to a Supra, and any of the LS based motors will easily get you to your 400-450rwhp goal. Hell a stock LS7 makes 505bhp, and an LS9 is over 600bhp.
