Default ran today not tommorrow
Hi i trying to find out whats wrong with my 86 rx7 gxl on sunday i drove it all around town took it home and parked it but then had to move it to get another car out drove 12ft ran fine went to drive it in the morning and it wouldnt start i got out and pulled the fuse for the fuel pump turned it over then put the fuse back in still nothing put it in my garge and cleaned the pluges got it to turn over and will start if my foot is on the pedel a little but it dies if i take my foot off the pedel cant go below 3000rpm or it shuts down anyone have a idea can the harness be a problem

Have you checked the fuel system? Maybe a clogged fuel filter.

Sounds more like air/vac leak to me if you can maintain running at higher rpm.

i looked over the fuel system it seems fine i will check the engine over where should i start to look

Vac hoses, intake leak, but I'd ck vac lines really well.

Default runs again
i got it to work the main fuse 80a was melted funny were it would still try to start the car but wouldnt run

Good to hear things are fine. That damn 80 amp fuse, I have replaced that three time on my 88 SE.
