Aftermarket steering wheel installation
Has anyone tried to remove the factory wheel, and related Air bag components properly. So that the Air Bag light doesnt come on and stay on, with out removing the light from behind the dash.

you can either splice the remaining wires together. or unwire the light, or remove it.

Yeah, I know to disconnect the battery, I really cant think of anything to worse than getting a face full of air bag. Its a Momo Millenium steering wheel. Thanks for the suggestions!

I dont think removing the air-bag is a good idea. It could save your life. Just choose the right way its not gonna be pretty if you crash and theres no air-bag .

I agree with you there... And again, caution statement is visibly there for buyers to decide.
Aside from that fact, there are aftermarket performance steering wheels that accommodates airbags for safety
