I have all the episodes. It's a japanese carton centered around downhill drifting (i.e. mountain racing)

I've heard of the game, but I haven't seen it.

season 4 is like dave chapelle season 4. its a series or a "story". It comes from the manga (comics) and gets shown on video (anime). April is the first month in which initial D season 4 show 1 will be released from MIRC and bittorrent.

Not sure if I've seen Season 4 or not. I know I've have Stage 1 and Stage 2, the movie (was that Stage 3) and the silly eposide that centered on that dumb ho in the Sil-80.

Yes, Stage 1 had I believe 27 episodes, Stage 2 only had 13 and stage 3 was a movie, the graphics went increasing on as the stages went up. There is also a battle stage of all the drift battles that happened during the course of the stages. As a plus there is an extra stage with two of the main character (takumi)'s opponents. Ive heard rumors about a 4th stage in the works. As for the arcade version, it has already been upgrade to version 2 of the game and includes a wide selection of vehicles and a chance to modify your vehicle as you race, pass stages and actually save your progress on a magnetic-memory card. This is its most unqie feature. Between the music (orginial soundtrack) the voices, the animation, and the storyline, Initial D is an admirable anime.
