Buying a 1993-1996 rx-7

i found a rx7 from 1993 in japan for 5000 and have never bought anything overseas so if any of you have can you give me some tips or refer me to a site

First off where are you from? Secondly why are you trying to have one imported from Japan? If you are in the states you will need to add in the all the associated importing fees to the initial cost of the vehicle, so at the end of the day you can find an FD here for the same price & be able to see what you are buying first hand. No real sense in making things complicated.
