can anyone tell me how to do a s5 tailight conversion over to led?

Doesn't it use the same socket? If not swap the socket. Figure how much amp the setup would draw and make sure fuse is adequate. Unless there's something I'm not aware of.

i have never worked with the tail lights before and im not sure how to convert to led or where to get the led part and everything.

Simplest way I know is to go to places like Kragens or Autozone and get LED "bulbs" and put right where existing socket!

an autozone or o'reilys will have direct replacement LED bulbs that are DOT approved and will just plug right in to replace the standard incandescent bulbs used. they usually range from about $5 to $20 depending on what bulb its replacing
