Anyways just wanting some opinions and seeing if anyone else here has done this swap and any advice I could use. Thanks!

A 1989 is not an S4 it's an S5. The 1JZGTE & 2JZGTE are good motors. They have big power potential if you have big pockets. There are more then a few who have been down the road you are wanting to go. Google 1JZ FC3S & a ton of option you can look at. I have only met one guy with that swap & to be honest he was an ass who talked a lot of shit, until a friend of mine handed him his ass in a Eclipse. BTW Welcome to the site & keep us updated on your project.

What yr Eclipse do you own? Four of my good friends own DSM's all making in the 600+ range. Your tail lights should have the triple circles not the four rectangles unless someone swapped them.

Kinda a down grade to replace the triples circles for the rectangles IMO.
