Default idle at 1,500 what do i do
The car will start up then idle up then die then i start it again and have to feather the gas once its warmed up it will idle at 1500 any one know ? i just bought the car please tell me something i have no clue on thes cars

or it a motor sensor cause of the 94 and up it does that when one of the sensor goes out

Don't think it's a vacuum leak, but take AusTexRex's advice and check anyway, cause you can always find a bad hose. How long does it run before it shuts down on its own? And what year is it? or did I miss that?
