There is a few great DIY rotary rebuild videos out there & all too many write ups for those who are interested in handling the build themselves. There is alot of great builders out there, I do suggest that you do a little research before deciding on one if you go that route. I say this because some people listen to advice of one person instead of really looking into the shop. I can not advise you there.

Well appears that you have the right plan & a shop manual with the DVD would be a great investment.

To be honest not sure I got mine from a friend at Mazda. I'm sure if you google it will be found.

Shop manual is hard to find but, I heard CD one is available. Never looked into it so I can't tell you validity of it. And if you find one expect to pay $$$ for it. Its def a must if you do work yourself! In the meantime you might want to pick up Hynes just for gen reference.
