ouch!!!!!!
i have an 87 gxl 5 speed...and when im shifting it seems to be rough...and its not smooth as it should be....any suggestions on how i can fix my lil problem......

check my post on trany problem. mine was hard to shift and they said it was my syncros.

You might also want to ck your clutch slave and see if it's functioning properly and ck the condition of your clutch line.
When was the last time you changed the gear oil? People seem to forget gear oil should also be changed periodically.

Change your tranny oil, put in some GM syncromesh or motul gear oil, will help with syncro issues (unless there REALLY bad), and have a look at your clutch fluid and condition.

Royal Purple is good stuff as well. Im a full motul user in all my cars as im "buddie buddie" with the local rep and i get killer deals on stuff from them.
Royal Purple is usualy easier to find than Motul. There are also soe race synthetics out there made for use in the 787B that are absolutly amazing. :P But at 198$ USD a liter its kind of expensive.

If you want to try it let me know. I use it in the race cars (well the widebody S4, and the Krangles S4, but the otheres tend to cheap out and it relaly does make a difference. Just the fluid alone keeps the temps down.
