Default 88 Engine Replacement
Hey guys, I'm new here but I do need some help. It's about time to replace the engine on my Conv RX-7 - low compression, not as powerful, 205K miles, etc.. I'm not going to rebuild this thing but I would like to purchase and install a rebuilt engine. Is this a hard thing to do? I am mechanicly inclined however I've never done this task before. Are there any books or videos that might detail this procedure?
.
Your advice would be helpful.

For rebuilding your rotary go to Atkins. They have "how to" video.

It's not really really hard to swap but, you'll need to take a pic of all connections before you remove and mark everything and you should be OK!

Have fun and let us know how things are coming along
