1994 RX7 - What SCCA Class?

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about buying a 1994 RX7. I've been drag racing for a few years, but I recently finished my second driving school to become certified for road racing with the SCCA.

I've done plenty of research, but it seems like the more I dig into what class the car would fall under, the more confused I get. The car has plenty of mods (single turbo that cranks out about 500 rwhp, intake, exhaust, slotted rotors, etc.) but the interior has been kept in tact. Any clue as to where this car would fall in terms of SCCA class?

I think it would be in the production category, but can anyone help me out?
