YES!!!!!!!!!! its your first, let me give you some advice to help you save your money.. don't ever buy a rebuild kit! don't ever buy any apex seals that are not heat treated.

2. O rings and gaskets buy it from Mazda tricks.( they sell OEM Mazda gaskets and they are the best. also get it for a FC its the same thing as the FD one but its cheaper, it coast me $160 plus shipping,)

3. don't buy stuff you don't need wait until you open the motor and see what needs replacing. also sometimes its cheaper to buy a new JDM motor then to rebuild your own
