Rx7 Starting trouble

I recently was given an '87 RX7. Fixed the stuck starter, Motor turns over but doesn't fire up. Spraying starter fluid starts it for a second but it quickly dies. Any suggestions would be extremely...

I just was given an 87 rx7. When I go to start it, The starter clicks, but engine doesn't turn over. After some research, I think it way be the starter sticking. Any ideas.
