Another Problem!
 

I have a 79 i picked up cheap but the entire car needed to be re done,engine,exhaust,electrical, but the ignition was upgraded from the points style to the 83 distributor/Alternator trick that i studied on here and other sitesbut it still runs too rich and just doesnt idle right,if there r any brainiacs that know what is wrong let me know,PLEASE!

is the idle to high or to low, or does it jump up and down?

you may need a carb rebuild. the other option is that the vacuum is off. still need to know if the idle goes up or down
