Hood release problem
 

Hood release has disconnected under the hood in the engine compartment. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get the hood up? The battery has died and is not drivable because we cannot open hood to recharge battery.

Hmmm, that's interesting. The latch mechanism release pull isn't working... have you tried to gently align the hood so mechanism would align enough to unlatch?
