high rpm backfire
 

i have a 93 rx7 efini and recently it has started to kinda backfire after about 4500+ rpm, it seems as if it looses all power could this be caused by faulty egnition wires?

figured out the problem capped off and crossed vaccume lines and only three solonoids ... lol whoever had the car befor me really screwed up

When did you get it figured out?

Next time (hope not) when you encounter with a similar issue you can get better idea what's going on by ck your vac leak by supplying some propane gas (not lit) and if you hear your engine sound improves the vac leak would be in that proximity. Although with solenoids it would be different, obviously.
Solenold/ck valve can also be ck'd
