Hey my name is Matt im a young petrolhead from the south u.k. I have been re-building motorbikes for a few years now and wish to move onto cars. im a fond lover of the jap cars my last was a turbo mr2 but am looking for an rx7 now. But dont know any1 who owns 1 in my area. And have only been told bad things about them from work guys ( im a professional Spray painter ). so a few questions il ask and any help would be gr8 :)

1. How much would i be looking to spend to keep it on the road ?
2. Do they really only do 13-17mpg ?
3. When the Apex seals go are they Hard or expensive to fix

( i know abit about them from what ive read but not alot )

1) not cheap
2) depends... I get 9 mpg
3) When apex seals go that means you need to rebuild and cross your fingers that your housings are not damaged.

lol do you drive yours around the 8rpm mark ? i do work in a garage so if work needs done it wont be a problem but as for a rebuild how often or easily so the seals go ? and what is the cause
