N/A compression is higher, you're running a much higher risk of blowing your overly expensive turbo engine. Get a 13BT, port it, 3mm seals, monitor temps and fuel.

That's definately true, but notice how I said "If properly done" there is no reason not to turbo charge the N/A motor. But then again the same thing can be said for properly swapping a turbo motor in there, many people on many other forums are still hung up by this.

Turboing an N/A properly can be much cheaper than a full engine and tranny swap; and properly set up, can run just as well as a stock turbo motor.

Granted everything is set up right you should be fine, BUT you better have a 40mm ported waste gate or something absolutely gigantic. One boost creep is all it takes on a higher compression motor to blow pieces of a seal right out the exhaust ports.

True true true. The need for a giant wastegate is grossly overlooked.
