Okay I bought me a 10th ae today.... it cranks over freely but does not fire AT ALL..... i removed the fuel pump and was trying to hear if it would kick on when i turned the key forward.... it does not turn on so i put in a pump from my 87 sitting in my yard... again would not kick on when the key was turned on.... can anyone telll me why my car will not turn the fuel pump on when i turn the key on?

There is a signal sent from the AFM, if it goes bad the fuel pump will not come on. You can mannually activate the fuel pump by locating a yellow connector inside the engine compartment and jumping it. It is on the passenger's side close to the pressure sensor. Also make sure that the engine fuse inside the is good.

He has only one post & it's this one. He hasn't been back since 2009, that's two years. LOL I would hope he either got it running or sold it to someone who did by now.
