Yeah, that'll help with back pressure. Besides, not having an exhaust seem to attract law enforcement.

Yep...they will hear ya from miles away!! Best bet 89..is to get a good used one or a new one that can add a little more performance to your car!

if you have a turbo you need not worry about back pressure.

The system flows a little too freely without a downpipe. So you loose some pressure, but not a lot.

so basically its due to my downpipe/like i can feel mad pull but the guage doesnt read and boost so idk if its teh guage or the turbo...idk all i no is in like a week ill have a new exhaust sustem so ill see what happens and then after that im gettin a tune up so hopefully it works out for me thanks

If you're feeling boost pull and you're not seeing it then it's the guage. Pressure test the system. Get a large PVC cap, drill into it, mount a metal valve/nipple in the hole, use a bike pump or air compressor to fill upt he system by tightening the TID around the PVC cap
You'll hear any leaks you have

i think i no whats wrong wit my turbo...i think that it gets to hot inside the engine bay due to the exhaust problem which is causing my turbo to not get a good amount of cold air to spool my turbo so hopefully on wednesday when i get the new exhaust put on my turbo will be better than ever thanks for ur help...i figured this out because when its kinda cold but not fully the guage shows boost but once it warms up forget about it no boost shown so wish me luck lol thanks tho

Why the hell didn't I think of that? Someone should start a Tech archive and place these nuggets of tech in it.

I agree with if you have a turbo you need not worry about back pressure.
