Default Can smell fuel all the time
Hi people, i have just brought a series 4 turbo and i smell fuel just about every time i drive it and when i turn it off the fuel pump sounds like it's still working for about 5 minutes. Can some one tell me if this is normal and this is the first turbo 7 i have owned. my first rotor was a series 1 with a carbied 12a in it so yeah, any advice would be very helpful and well recieved.

What kind of condition is it in first off? By now if nothing has been done to original hoses it should be nice and crumbly by now. I highly recommend for you to at least replace all fuel lines and pulsation damper before it catches on fire.

As to fuel pump is concerned you should ck your fuel pump relay.

Cheers for the advice...smell seems to have disappeared now i am using BP ultimate. Car is in pretty good condition , engine was rebuilt 4 years ago and mild ported while it was out according to the reciept. I'll have to try locate a series 4 work shop manual so i can do a few bits and pieces myself.
cheers once again
