im a kiwi so i wouldnt know, but do you guys acctually have the underground racing for money thing going? is everyones cars riced up to the max so that it slows their standard underpowered car down? does the real cool guy talk real slowly and in general is a bad actor and seems intilectually impaired??

NOS and jumping bridges?

I don't know about jumping and stuff...but, AusT told me about organized street race in TX where you pay the organizer (mafia people) and go out about it.

ahhh and they are the drug dealers, in the fuel tanks of the harley davidsons, only now does it all make sense... oh wait no that was tourque, im getting my american bullsh** movies mixed up =P

wish they made a decent car movie, like getaway in stockholm but with more technical data... still havnt seen GIS 4 with the rx7, i am Pscyho dads inflammed sense of jellousy

I know of a few people that have raced for a couple hundred, but for the most part where I live there are just dumb kids reving at stop lights to see who has the loudest mellon-shooter.

Of course there are people that race for money, but I think that happens in areas with high densities of imports obviously, i.e. SoCal. There was actually a show on MTV True Life called "I'm a Street Racer" and it showed the guy in his Honda running for cash.
