3G Convertible - Super Rare!

I recently bough a 3G from a private owner in Northern Virginia. He's a real enthusiast and owns several other 3Gs.. including this one - According to his account, the guy he bought it from ran a custom shop back in the mid 90s and only made about 5 of these. Anyone else ever seen one?
