I raced my '83 today, at a track!

I have been running my retired '83 Pro7 car at tracks like Sears Point (Infineon), Laguna Seca and Thunderhill (CW and CCW). For the last 7 years I have particpated with NASA NorCal in Group 4 during HPDE Events. It is a blast from the past. It handles great, accelerates well and all with Rotary 96 hp. I get the opportunity to run nose-to-tail thru turns with a lot of more expensive cars. I have had several people stop by and share " I didn't know those things could handle like that". I sold the car and miss it. Now I have a '2001 Miata that I am going to 'warm-over" a little bit for street and track.
