unknown object...pls help

I have an 88 modle "se" and there's this odd looking tank. It's located right under the wiper motor (witch is on the left) and it has some hoses going to the intake. The tank is empty so I don't know what i need's to be filled with. Dose anyone know what its for and what type of liquid it needs?

Are you talking about the Charcoal canister on the passenger side of the bay by the firewall?

aahhh.... well i dont know... its just a small tank.. its right under the wiper motor... if u look a little down left from the wiper motor, there's that small tank. like i said before, its empty so i dont know what it needs.

I'm pretty sure it's the charcoal canister man & you don't need to fill it.
