Hi,
Just bought a series1 rx7 and it has a t2 13bt on it including t2 tranny.
Now my question is, I was wondering why my cut off is not at 7k RPM nor 7500Rpm. The Prev. owner said that it was fitted with a "racing box" and I havent tried to hit its limiter coz I am afraid to.
Secondly, I know it's a stock motor aside from the "computer box", 3" down pipe, mide pipe and filters. I was wondering if their is any way I could bump up my Hp without touching any internals like increasing the boost, FMIC or etc.?
If also I would increase the boost, what should be the maximum settings and its Timing adjustments to compensate for the added boost.
I will be just using my rx7 as my drag car only.
BTW, I am from the south of the Philippines where their are no accredited shops who has encountered with rotary engine and I am the only one here who has one. (Running) FYI. I helped the prev. owner in building this engine also with the help of a manual. And thank GOD its running correctly...
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance..
Best Regards,
Hervie
