light weight rotors will have a lower compression number so you'll have to be boosting a shit load to compensate, and rpms will be redlining very fast with that set up. Usually they're only used for complete racing applications.
Make sure to get a mean ACT clutch to hold that down, otherwise you'll slip any time you put your foot to the ground.

For autox it really depends on your style, I personally would rather have the normal rotors, a port job and intake, exhaust, upgraded fuel system, and boost controller should be good enough. Think twice before switching to a larger turbo for autox. Coming out of a turn do you want it to boost immediately with a fair amount of power or slowly with a lot of power?
I'll it back and wait for gsle to answer this thread, I do believe he is the resident AutoX expert.

In order to transplant it into your 82? You'll need engine mounts, a new radiator, fuel pump, ECU, transmission. I'm not too sure whether or not transmission lengths are the same so the shifter might sit in a different location. To fix that, custom mounts or supports for the engine to bring it all forward should help.
You've got a lot of work ahead of you.
